Magazine Sub-editor
No. of Positions [ 1 ] 

VOL Media needs an enthusiastic sub-editor to work across a range of projects (magazines, newsletters, campaigns, and website). You will be expected to sub copy with accuracy and attention to detail. Duties also include writing snappy and accurate headlines, straps and abstracts/summaries, as well as the occasional feature.

Candidate needs to have an eye for detail; fluent English and a keen grasp of grammar; proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment; growing interest in and understanding of the domain.

 Key responsibilities include:

• Editing and publishing print and online copy to a very high standard, accurately and quickly.
• Ensure content is consistent to style and correctly formatted.
• Coding, subbing and uploading content onto various web platforms.
• Work to agreed timescales to meet production deadlines.
• Write headlines, summaries and similar supporting content where appropriate.
• Coordinating with the Design Team for suitable graphical aspects for publication, and maintaining the image bank
• Check facts and cross-reference material as required.

 

Senior Sales Execs

 Job Description:
•    Manages the day-to-day marketing campaigns, customer communications and  managing customer relations
•    Conducts lead management follow up and lead tracking in sales reporting tool
•    Source prospecting lists and develop targeted new business marketing programs
•    Ensure processes are in place for campaigns and events
•    Should be able to work in a start-up environment that is very dynamic and challenging
•    Highly self motivated and directed
•    Experience in working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
•    Develop quarterly marketing plans which details activities to follow to achieve the needed customer acquisition targets
•    Monitor and report campaign performance; provide results and recommendations for improvement, identify new solutions to drive better performance
